This may go some way to explaining my thoughts: http://davesmagicalbrain.blogspot.com/2009/07/how-deep-is-remission.html
I was pondering the magical brain post while I was driving home from work the other day - a black flapping shape lifting into the air as I sped along.

As bluetoque said the contrast is stunning; and it says so much...

You interrupted it's lunch, didn't you? Great haiku about reflections.

Best wishes

hi Dave, this one has really hit a chord with me... its memorable..

I think I mentioned previously that I have a couple of friends with MS - one jumps in and out of remission, the other has symptoms that never let up... each time I see them I cant help thinking what an abstract disease it is that descends on the most unlikeliest of people. Not an overly logical thought, but theres no logic in the way MS progresses or goes into remission either... your description of remission on your other blog was very moving, and as I said earlier, this haiku is powerful
